Certain plant active ingredients have properties validated on neurological functions:

    Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) promotes well-being and relaxation, Passionflower is a climbing perennial. It can also be found under the name of "passion flower" or "grenadilla". From the family of passifloraceae, passionflower pleases under the sun, enjoying warm and tropical climates. Many species grow in South America. In France, it is cultivated in Mediterranean areas. In herbal medicine, only the aerial parts are used (leaves and flowers harvested at flowering and at the appearance of fruits).
    • Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), helps improve nervous balance and helps calm anxiety, helps maintain a positive mood and physical well-being. Lemon balm is a perennial, bushy plant, measuring 30 cm to 80 cm in height. Its erect stems, of square section, are branched and pubescent. Its leaves, pale green as far as the underside is concerned and more vivid on the upper side, are opposite, ovate and petiolate. Rough to the touch, they give off a slightly lemony smell when they wrinkle. Leaves, stems and flowers are the parts used in herbal medicine.

    Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea), thanks to its adaptogenic qualities, helps the body adapt to emotional stress. Rhodiola is a plant that measures 70 cm, root and stem included. Its stem is only 5-20 cm tall, since most of the plant consists of its root. Only the root of the rhodiola (rhizome) is edible and used in phytotherapy. Rhodiola grows on rocky slopes and cliffs in the frigid regions of Asia, Siberia, Tibet, China, Russia, North America and Canada.
    • Studies have shown that Saffron has stress reducing, anxiety and mood enhancing properties.

 

    • It is a bulbous perennial plant, of the Iridaceae family, flowering at the beginning of autumn,

 

    • which bears a blue flower mixed with red and purple, with highly developed and fragrant yellow stigmata.

 

    Very common in Mediterranean cuisine, saffron is a spice, used as a dye, which contains many virtues.
    Ginseng, thanks to the presence of ginsenosides, helps maintain optimal endurance, feelings of energy and vitality. Ginseng is a small perennial plant, varying between 30 and 50 cm. The power of this medicinal plant lies in its tuberous roots, the size of which increases with age. It is, in particular, ginsengs over 5 years old that are involved in herbal medicine.
    Bacopa monnieri, thanks to the presence of bacoside, helps to improve memory, learning abilities and information processing. Bacopa monnieri is a small plant whose size does not exceed 20 to 25 cm. A perennial, multi-year and creeping fatty plant, bacopa has slender, fleshy and branched stems. Its thick, edible leaves are opposite, spatulate. Its small white to pale blue axillary flowers are formed by four to five petals, arranged opposite to the stem. Bacopa leaves are the part used in herbal medicine.
